Bottled Water Tip #3

Bottled Water Tip #3

Whether you're in the bottled water home and office delivery (large bottles), PET small bottles, or both, Norland International offers equipment options to meet your operation's requirements. From an ROI standpoint, the right sized equipment for your immediate needs is essential to achieve profitability. While you should plan for plant expansion as your business grows, you should not commit dollars for equipment before you need it.

For large bottles (3- to 5-gallon), Norland offers a range of washer/filler options, from the BFW60 (60 bottles an hour) and the BW150 and BF150 (150 bottles an hour) to the TritonLine™ Series 900 (900 bottles an hour).

The TritonLine™ Series of automatic bottle washers, fillers and cappers handles multi-sized 3- to 5-gallon bottles simultaneously. No hand-sorting or adjustments are required. Just load them up in any order and the TritonLine™ takes care of the rest automatically.

Norland's production equipment for the PET (8 -oz to 1-gal)) operations ranges from a basic line that produces up to 20 bottles a minute and the starter line that produces up to 30 bottles a minute, to the company's complete turnkey SpectraPak™5000, which produces up to 5000 bottles an hour.

The top-of-the-line SpectraPak™5000 system includes a bottle feed table, automatic bottle rinser, bottle filler labeler/capper, cap tightener, ink-jet date coder, accumulation conveyor and table. It is designed to run multiple shifts with little operator expertise. State-of-the-art design and modular components provide maximum performance and economy for filling 335 ml up to 1-gallon (3.8-liter) bottles with water or other free-flowing liquids. Each component is available separately, as well.

Norland also offers blow molders for small PET bottles, ozone generating systems, and case packers and shrink wrappers.
